SUBMIT YOUR ABSTRACT FOR POSTER PRESENTATION AT JIC 2026 

The JIC 2026 Scientific Committee invites original clinical cases and research abstracts in basic and clinical research from MD students for the Scientific Poster Presentation Competition. 

• Abstract submission opens: 14th September 2025 
• Abstract submission closes: 14th November 2025 
• Notification of acceptance: 30th November 2025

ABSTRACT GUIDELINES 

• Format: Single-spaced, justified, typed in MS Word document.
• Title: Times New Roman, 12 pt, Bold. Each word should begin with a capital letter (except transition words).
• Author(s) Details: Times New Roman, 11 pt, Regular. 
• Format: Family Name, First Name
• Affiliation: Institute / Hospital, Department, City, Country (superscripted numerically if more than one)
• Presenting author’s name should appear first.
• Provide the corresponding author’s email ID. 

• Abstract Body (200–250 words): Times New Roman, 11 pt. 

Structure: 

• Clinical Studies: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusion
• Clinical Case(s): Case History, Diagnosis, Management, Discussion, Outcome 

TIMELINE & PRIZES 

• Deadline: 14th November 2025
• Notification of Acceptance: 30th November 2025 (please check your email frequently for confirmation) 

Prizes 

Clinical Study 

• 1st Prize: ₹5,000
• 2nd Prize (2 awards): ₹2,500 each
• 3rd Prize (3 awards): ₹1,500 each 

Clinical Case 

• 1st Prize: ₹4,000
• 2nd Prize (2 awards): ₹2,000 each
• 3rd Prize (3 awards): ₹1,000 each

POLICIES 

• A submission fee of ₹300 (non-refundable) is applicable for each abstract.
• The research should not have been presented previously.
• All abstracts/posters must be submitted in English and in the prescribed format.
• Complimentary registration will be extended to the presenting author and co-authors of accepted abstracts.
• The date and time of poster presentation will be communicated upon acceptance.
• The presenting author must be physically present at the conference; failure to do so may affect acceptance of future submissions.
• Posters should be displayed 30 minutes before the commencement of the session.
• The decision of the JIC 2026 Scientific Committee regarding awards will be final and binding.
• Participants will receive a poster (JPG/PDF) submission link in the confirmation email.
• Certificates will be issued to the presenting author, listing the names of all co-authors.
